For nearly 50 years, we have guided pastors and ministry staff through the complexities of financial planning and benefits, so they can live generously in every season of ministry. We understand that serving Christ’s church is delightful but can also be depleting, which is why investing in the financial, physical, and emotional health of pastors and ministry staff is so important. 2021 was a year of incredible opportunity and growth for this ministry.

Our 2021 Annual Report shares how we served a record number of ministry leaders through our retirement plan and added new retirement products like our Late-in-Life-Income solution to ensure that ministers and their spouses are well cared for and don’t outlive their retirement savings.

We sought to strengthen the church through providing ministry staff with top-tier benefits like access to affordable and confidential Christian counseling and published research findings into the wellbeing of PCA pastors. Through distributing these research findings to sessions, presbyteries, and lay leaders, we advocated for greater empathy and understanding of what it takes for pastors and their families to thrive.

As we expanded our retirement, insurance, and wellbeing services, we also laid the groundwork for a new name. Although formally announced at the PCA General Assembly in 2022, our Board of Directors approved the name change from PCA Retirement & Benefits, Inc. to Geneva Benefits Group in 2021. We believe the name Geneva better captures the suite of services we provide to ministry staff beyond retirement and positions us for future growth in depth and breadth.

Although our name has changed, our team and mission remain the same. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at contact@genevabenefits.org with any questions in the attached report or financial statements. It is our joy and honor to serve churches and ministry staff through every season ministry.

Geneva Benefits Group serves those who serve others, providing practical support for the financial, physical, and mental wellbeing of people who work in full-time ministry.

Geneva offers preparedness and peace of mind with solutions tailored to the needs of ministry leaders and staff.
