Geneva Benefits Group to Host 19th Annual Golf Tournament
The Geneva Benefits Group Golf Tournament has become a proud tradition of the PCA General Assembly with many golfers returning year after year. Now in its 19th year, the tournament will continue as a time of celebration and fellowship to welcome the work that is to come for the week. All proceeds benefit the Geneva Relief Fund, supporting wellbeing initiatives for PCA pastors.

Pastoral ministry is deeply meaningful, and it is also deeply demanding. For more than five decades, the Relief Fund has been committed to coming alongside pastors and their families so they can thrive in every season of ministry. Last year, Geneva launched Pastoral Cohorts, providing structured, confidential spaces where pastors can be fully seen, heard, and strengthened alongside fellow shepherds who understand the weight of ministry.
Along with additional wellbeing initiatives, including sabbatical resources and grants, pastoral care summits, and counseling services for pastors’ wives, Geneva strives to provide holistic pastoral care for a lifetime of service. Through the collective generosity of Christ’s body, the Relief Fund has given over $13 million to PCA pastors, widows, and ministry workers in need over its 52 year history. The tournament is a wonderful way to enjoy time with fellow members of Christ’s church while raising funds to strengthen its laborers.
“We count it a privilege to come alongside pastors, widows, and ministry families in moments when encouragement and practical support are most needed,” shared Rev. Ed Dunnington, president of Geneva Benefits Group. “This tournament reflects the heart of the Relief Fund: the church caring for those who have faithfully served the church. It’s a meaningful way to begin General Assembly together, united in fellowship and generosity.”
The tournament will be held on June 23 at Covered Bridge Golf Club in Sellersburg, IN. Designed by 1979 Masters Tournament Champion Fuzzy Zoeller, Covered Bridge Golf Club is friendly to all skill levels and features an 18-hole championship course with beautiful rolling fairways.
Dozens of businesses and organizations have joined together to sponsor the event.
