Don is the Director of Retirement Readiness & Data/Technology and joined Geneva Benefits Group in 2017 as a Financial Planning Advisor. Don continues to enjoy the privilege of serving our churches, organizations, pastors and ministry staff as he leads the Retirement Readiness team and is now providing oversight to Geneva’s efforts to enhance our systems and processes for the benefit of our clients. Don is a Teaching Elder in the Georgia Foothills Presbytery and serves as its Stated Clerk. Prior to joining Geneva, he was Senior Pastor and church planter of Resurrection Presbyterian Church in Athens, Georgia and, before that, he was Associate Pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Athens, Georgia. Prior to ordination, Don worked in the software industry holding a variety of positions in software development, product management and software sales. Don is a graduate of Virginia Tech (BS, Computer Science) and Westminster Theological Seminary (MDiv) in Philadelphia. Don is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) and is presently working towards his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. Don is married to Jenny, they have four adult children. He enjoys photography and cycling in his free time.
